What's more I can find on the Net?
Introduction
You know what you are looking for and you are convinced it is somewhere out there (i.e. on the Net). The information overload creates frustration when you cannot find those pages. Search Engines may help. These pages do not pretend to be a Global Page Search but can assist you.
Sherlock
Many search engines will sort for you the information available on the Internet.
Macintosh users should use the powerful Sherlock plug-in function (Mac OS 8.5 or above). Moreover, Mac OS 8.6 now supports proxy servers (since Mac OS 8.5.1) with Sherlock 2. If you dislike the Ads, then install the 'No more Ads' patch. You may also modify the number of hits in each plug-in (refer to the TIL the article). Refer to Power Searcher for plug-in sources.
Search Engines
The latest (Windows) versions of Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer will automatically re-direct your keystrokes (in the address bar) to a search engine. Alternatively you may include a plug-in which submits the commands to various search engines. More information about Search Engines, in particular in Belgium, is available at e-zoek.com. For your convenience, we offer a selection of Search Engines to submit your look up.
